The Dairy

The Dairy is a firm favourite among couples and we hope you can see why.

As its name suggests, this truly unique property was previously used for storing dairy produce. Converted in 2015, it is the perfect space for a solo escape or romantic getaway.

The large open-plan style with added mezzanine, home to the luxurious super-king bed, gives The Dairy an incredibly spacious feel which oozes character. Add to that a cosy wood burner, mountain views and a unique glass topped well that projects mesmerizing displays onto the ceiling above from the moving water beneath and you’ll have forgotten all about work, bills and washing in no time.

The breakfast bar provides seated dining for two and is ideal for romantic meals where sociable cooking and dining combine. The main living area has a large wall-mounted smart TV (Netflix included!), super comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove and tall windows that give you incredible views to 2 aspects including the Lake District from the front.

Now that you’re fully acquainted with the inside of the property let’s take a look at what’s on offer outside.  Outside you have your own private parking space accessed through a gated entrance making it quick and easy to unload your car with your belongings. The Dairy also has outside seating for 2 with those impressive views set directly ahead plus there is a picnic style table to seat up to 4 people should you wish to enjoy some al fresco dining or a BBQ while you soak up the beauty of the natural area or watch the murmurations of the starlings as they prepare to roost. If things start to get a little cool, you can also enjoy the fabulous chiminea and its gentle crackle as you wind down from another wonderful day away.
